Ellen DeGeneres: President Trump Is Not Welcome on My Show

Traditionally, talk show hosts salivate at the mere thought of the president of the United States – Donald Trump visiting their talkfest.

President of the United States – Donald Trump isn’t welcome on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, the comedienne woman told to her guest – Matt Lauer in an interview that aired on NBC’s Today on Friday. And the reason is very familiar: “Because I’m not gonna change his mind. He’s against everything that I stand for.” (You can Watch the video above.)

Ellen DeGeneres said she had met Trump in the past.

They both shoot a Celebrity Apprentice-related segment for her show many years ago.

“I flew in his helicopter and did a bit with him, so I knew him then,” she said. “I have not spoken to him since he’s run for president or become president.”

However, Ellen DeGeneres, who recently celebrated the 20th anniversary of her coming out as a lesbian. That happen during an episode of her sitcom Ellen. She implied that Trump’s well-documented comments about women and immigrants, among other questions, do not jive with her own opinions and do not seem to be flexible.

“We need to look at someone else who looks different than us. And also, believes in something that we don’t believe in and still accept them and still let them have their rights,” she told Lauer.
