Our favorite tv show – “The Walking Dead” Season 8 has promoted three actors to series regular status.
Steven Ogg, Pollyanna McIntosh, and Katelyn Nacon will all have expanded characters when the AMC zombie apocalypse series returns this October.
Ogg plays Simon, the right-hand man to (the big enemy) The Savior leader Negan.
Nacon is Enid, a girl resident of Alexandria who has confirmed a relationship with Carl. McIntosh plays one of the latest characters on the tv show, Jadis, head of the junkyard scavengers.
Season 7 of the series saw the difference of some main cast members, including Steven Yeun and Michael Cudlitz. We all know that Glenn and Abraham were killed in the first episode of the season 7. Sonequa Martin-Green, the woman who played Sasha, died in the season finale. She will now be a new star in “Star Trek: Discovery.”
Season 8 will pick up amidst the battle between Rick’s company and The Saviors. Series showrunner Scott M.Gimple earlier said that the season will see Rick and his friends fighting to protect the very weak civilization they have established.
“It’s actually for the whole world as far as their experience,” Gimple told when the season concluded. “It isn’t just their little corner. It’s the Hilltop and the Kingdom too.
The Governor just wanted them dead. Negan would be glad if everyone was alive and just working for him. There’s a very fundamental political concept at play here. They want to live in a beautiful world instead of having it just be Negan’s. To that end, that plan feels to me like the beginning of civilization is at stake. This new civilization they desire to build rather than live this strange half-life following a dictator.”
